Statement on the obligation to provide information

The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data solely on the basis of the legal regulations (GDPR, TKG [Austrian Telecommunications Act] 2003). In this data protection information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

Contacting us
If you contact us by using this form on this website or by email, all data you provide will be stored by us for six months for the sole purpose of processing your enquiry and in the event of follow- up questions. We will not pass on this data to third parties without your consent. Neither are they sold or lent out, respectively. Your data is transmitted via SSL encryption (SSL certificate) and we undertake to handle all of your data responsibly and with the greatest possible care.

Web analysis and cookies
Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Matomo, an open-source software for statistical evaluation of visitor access, as well as the Google Analytics software provided by Google. Matomo (150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand). It uses so-called “cookies”. These are text files that are stored on your computer, enabling an analysis of your usage of the website. The information thus created is transmitted to the server of the provider (located in Germany) and stored there. You can prevent this by adjusting the settings of your browser so that no cookies are being stored. We would, however, like to point out that in such a case, you may, if applicable, not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.

Your IP address is collected but pseudonymised at once (e. g. by deleting the last 8 bit). Thus, only some broad localization is still possible.

Our concern in the sense of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is to improve our offer and our website. Since the privacy of our users matters to us, the user data is pseudonymised. We retain the user data for the period of one year.

The use of cookies with regard to Google (Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) is handled in the same way as for Matomo, except that some of the data is stored in the U.S. as well. This, however, is done in accordance with the policies of the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield (https://www.dsb.gv.at/eu-us-privacy-shield).

Facebook - social media plugins
On our website, we use the “Facebook visitor action pixel”. The service provider is: Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA.

If you were routed to this website by clicking on one of our Facebook ads, the so-called conversion tracking has been activated by placing a cookie on your end device.

We use this technology to continuously improve the offers and quality of our Facebook pages and this website for our customers. Conversion tracking means that after a click on an ad, the usage and clicking behaviour is tracked and evaluated to optimise the structure of our website and of future ads for all of our users.

The information thus generated cannot be linked to individual users because it is anonymous for us. Facebook stores this data; we do not have any information about the kind of its further processing. You can find further information about this in the privacy policy for Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/

Web shop - data storage
We would like to point out that for the purpose of simplifying the purchasing process and for subsequent contract processing, the IP data of the subscriber as well as the name, address, email address and credit card number of the buyer are stored by the web shop operator via cookies. The data provided by you is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. Without these data, we cannot conclude the contract with you. With the exception of the transmission of your credit card data to the processing bank institutes/payment service providers for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the carrier / shipping company commissioned by us to deliver the goods and to our tax consultant for the fulfilment of our tax obligations, data shall not be transmitted to third parties.

After the shopping process has been aborted, the data stored by us will be deleted. In the event of a contract being concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the tax retention period expires (7 years). The data name, address, goods purchased, and date of purchase will also be stored until the product liability expires (10 years). Data processing is carried out based on the legal provisions of section 96 subsection 3 TKG and art 6 subsection 1 lit a (consent) and/or lit b (necessary for contract fulfilment) of the GDPR.

This website embeds YouTube videos or, respectively, provides links to videos on YouTube. The YouTube video service by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, uses cookies to collect information about the usage of the videos. You can find the privacy policy of Google, which applies to YouTube, at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

Your rights
In general, you have the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability, revocation and objection.
